Kenai Fjords Wilderness Lodge
Situated on a private island 45 minutes’ boat ride from the port of Seward, this Alaska accommodation offers all-inclusive dining and hiking. The lodge consists of eight waterfront guest cottages, all of which offer views of either Resurrection Bay or a fresh-water lagoon. On the day of arrival, guests can enjoy an included boat tour of Resurrection Bay while viewing glaciers and marine wildlife.
Without a TV or phone, all rooms at the Kenai Fjords Wilderness Lodge offer guests a retreat where they can take full advantage of the surrounding wilderness and relax. The bright rooms are comfortably furnished featuring a dining and seating area.
Kenai Fjords Wilderness Lodge’s offers a grand dining hall complete with a pot-bellied stove for an included meal of varying gourmet cuisine and fresh Alaskan seafood. Guests can enjoy a culinary experience during their stay. This experience allows guests to interact with the on-site chefs and prepare an Alaskan seafood recipe. Preparation techniques and expert insight are provided.
Guests can explore the island and its 2 Alaska State Marine Parks or go on a guided hike. Guests have the option to explore the island on a guided kayak tour for an additional cost. On the day of departure, guests can enjoy a prime rib and salmon buffet lunch and opt for a glacier cruise and wildlife tour before returning to Seward by ferry.
