You can do your weekly shop each Wednesday at the bustling market in Piëgut-Pluviers. In the town of Montbron there are various provisions including supermarkets. baker. butcher. bank. doctor. pharmacy and tourist information. The Le Chat holiday centre is located within walking distance. as is the beautiful La Preze golf course. The walking and horseback riding centre of Chambon is located approximately 15 km away. Bellac is located on the border of Charente and Dordogne. from which locations such as Perigueux. Limoges. Angoulême. Cognac and Bordeaux are easily accessible. This varied region is popular with tourists. but is not overrun. Only one day s drive from the Netherlands and Belgium! If you love a green rolling landscape. this is a wonderful place.
