It is located at 398 Beauchef Street and is accessed by Parque O'Higgins Metro Station, Line 2, Matta Avenue, Blanco Encalada Avenue.
The park becomes annually the activity center of the Chilean national holidays. In the sector known as El Pueblito, dozens of fondas are installed, enclosures of typical national cuisine with places to dance, such as cueca. Every September 19, at the Park Esplanade (known as La Ellipse), the military parade is held in front of the highest government officials and hundreds of thousands of spectators. On the east side, Bernardo O'Higgins University is located.
