Jachtrust is a traditional thatched villa. It is on the outskirts of the town of Houten in the Province of Utrecht. The house is in a country area and was a huntsmans lodge. It is now a protected local monument. The house was renovated in 2009 by the well known Dutch structural engineer. Bob Sikkens. Jachrust is comfortably furnished and equipped with every modern convenience. The house has a romantic. comfortable atmosphere and is a perfect holiday home. You can enjoy a relaxed holiday in beautiful countryside and still have all facilities nearby. The town of Houten is a few minutes away by car. You can enjoy swimming in the Rietplas lake. a ten minute walk away. The attractive. historic city of Utrecht is 11 kilometres away. The delightful. hilly scenery of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug is 24 kilometres. You can enjoy many excellent walking routes and cycle paths there.
