A good example of Mannerism, it has evident similarities with the churches of Santa Maria de Estremoz, Santo Antão de Évora or Nossa Senhora da Lagoa de Monsaraz. Only the belfry and the exterior gable are rococo in the second half of the 18th century. The interior shows a great stylistic variety, fruit of its antiquity: some medieval and late medieval elements (an inscription of 1322, the Altar of São Brás, of the XV century, or the Chapel of St. John the Baptist, in the subcoro, with its ceiling of (all its exterior volume and all its interior base structure), baroque, rococo and neoclassical (mainly in several reformed altars).
