With free Wi-Fi and free onsite parking, the self-catering accommodation is set beside a beautiful 17th century packhorse bridge and the tumbling Whillan Beck.
Wast Water lake is a 7 km walk from Bridge End, while Windermere lake is 24 km away. Coninston Water is 36 km from the property.
Each cottage offers a cosy living area, with oak beams and exposed stonework. The cottages also include a satellite TV with many sports, movie, and children’s channels. Many cottages offer a private patio with garden furniture, fell views, and a barbeque. Three cottages have ground floor bedrooms and bathrooms, making them ideal for guests with mobility restrictions.
The fully equipped kitchens include a dishwasher. Guests can enjoy a welcome tray with tea, coffee, homemade biscuits, and fresh milk in the fridge.
